Hello, beautiful world.

Hello My Beautiful World was born from a simple belief — that every child deserves the tools to imagine their brightest present and future. That belief came from somewhere personal. From a 40-year journey, from watching two boys grow, from learning that the world becomes more beautiful when you choose to see it that way.

We make picture books. We're starting to make chapter books. One day soon, we'll make animated stories for television. But underneath all of it is one through-line: stories rooted in real human experience that celebrate self love, love of others, and love of mother earth — through play.

What we believe.

Self love
Children who learn to value themselves grow into adults who value others. Every story we publish reinforces a child's sense that they are enough, exactly as they are.

Love of others
We make books that show children the world is bigger than them — full of friends they haven't met yet, cultures they haven't experienced, and ways of being they haven't imagined.

Love of mother earth
The planet is the largest and most patient teacher children will ever have. Our stories invite reverence for the natural world — not as a lesson, but as a relationship.

Through play
We don't preach. We don't moralize. We tell stories that are funny, warm, weird, and alive — because play is how children learn what matters.

Our promise to you.

For every 18 books we sell, we donate one to a child or school that wouldn't otherwise have it. Over time, we're developing art, music, and culinary programs so local artists, musicians, and chefs can lead hands-on classes in underserved communities.

We believe a publishing company can be more than the books it prints. It can be a small conduit for change. We don't have every answer, and we never will. But we do have the resources we've been given, and we will do our best to share them — monetarily, physically, and through the stories we tell.
